Join us for our inaugural Smile Stand event to celebrate our cleft and craniofacial community and raise funds to support the Duke Cleft and Craniofacial Center.

Staff, patients and families are invited to visit our five Smile Stand locations around the Duke Medical Campus. Each stand will be serving treats and lemonade and hosted by our very own patients.

Meet this year’s Smile Stand hosts!

  • Meet Austin

    Austin is a happy, funny boy who loves playing with monster trucks and anything his baby sister is playing with. He was born on World Smile Day.

  • Meet Isabella

    I enjoy watching YouTube and listening to my favorite band BTS. I also enjoy filming videos for my YouTube channel, ‘Isabella’s Adventures’. I don’t let my differences get in the way of having fun!

  • Meet Everett

    I am 15 years old and enjoy golf, baseball and playing the guitar. I also enjoy hunting, fishing and camping. I still cannot believe what an incredible job Dr. Marcus and his team did with my surgery. They have inspired me to consider going into a medical field.

  • Meet Rhys

    I love scooting on my bum all the way to the back door every evening to be the first to greet my Tato (dad). He tickles me with his beard and makes me laugh a lot.

  • Meet Addison

    Addison tends to be shy, but once you get to know her, she can easily become your best friend. She is fascinated with all types of animals and aspires to be a veterinarian one day.
